TopMarks is an exclusive educational and creative learning portal for students.

In this site there are two types of courses that are offered:

  • Regular Class Courses
  • Art & Craft Courses and Patterns

Class Courses comprise of a series of video lectures and slides. There are also a series of unique practice Question & Answers with Solution accompanying each lecture.

The Class Courses are in accordance with the school curriculum of most major Indian educational boards.

For each course there is a list of recommended books which cover the board course syllabus.

We have kept it open for qualified and experienced Instructors to register with us and offer courses. This way we have ensured that the courses are of top quality and provide different learning methods.

The Art & Craft Courses gives you an opportunity to learn new techniques in various creative categories like Doll Making, Paper Craft etc.

The Courses consist of a series of instructional videos with accompanying slides.

The Art & Craft Courses are organized in different levels of expertise which will help you to choose based on your experience and expectation.

Each Art & Craft topic is associated with a set of Patterns with downloadable instructions which can be purchased.  This is to provide ample opportunities for you to tryout different ideas and designs.

We are confident that you will enjoy going through our courses and provide you easy refunds in case you are not satisfied.

 

1. How do I retrieve and reset lost password?

     To retrieve password, please follow the steps below

  • In the login page please click on ‘Forgot password’
  • In the ‘Forgot Password’ page please enter your registered e-mail/mobile number’ to receive the OTP to reset your password.
  • In the OTP verification screen please enter the received OTP
  • In the Change Password page please enter and set your new password

2. How do I change my password?

  1.  Login to your account
  2.  Select ‘Personal Details’ from your logged in name dropdown
  3.  Please enter your new password in the password field
  4.  Click change password
  5.  Enter the same password in the confirm password field.
  6.  Click the ‘Save’ button

3. How can I edit my personal details?

  1.  Login to your account
  2.  Select ‘Personal Details’ from your logged in name dropdown
  3.  Change the fields you would like to update
  4.  Click the ‘Save’ button

4. How do I delete my Account?

Please send an e-mail from your registered mail id to: support@topmarks.in requesting your account to be deleted.

You will be intimated over mail once your account has been deleted.

5. My Account has been compromised

a.  I am not able to login

  • Please try to reset password following the steps mentioned for resetting your password
  • If you are still not able to login, please send an e-mail to ‘support@topmarks.in’ from your registered e-mail id describing the nature of your problem. We will resolve it immediately.
 

b.  My subscribed courses are not visible

  • Please login to your account and select ‘My Subscriptions’ from your name dropdown. All your subscribed courses should be visible in this page
  • If the above step is not working, please contact support@topmarks.in from your registered e-mail id describing the problem and we will resolve it immediately.

 

 

1. What does a Course include?

Courses fall under three main categories:

 
  1.  Classes Courses
  2.  Art & Craft Courses
  3.  Art & Craft Patterns

Classes and Art & Craft Courses consists of a series of video lectures with accompanying slides. For Class courses there are also a set of practice question and answers with solutions to supplement the video lesson series.

The Class courses are aligned to the syllabi of major secondary and higher secondary boards in India.

Art & Craft Patterns comprise of a series of image slides which gives you an outline of the Pattern and the final product created using that pattern. The pattern details are available in a downloadable pdf document on purchase.

2. How do I subscribe to a Course?

To subscribe to a course, you need to first purchase it by adding it to cart and then completing the payment. On successful payment the purchased courses can be accessed from ‘My Subscriptions’.

3. Can I Preview a Course?

Yes, a course can be previewed. The first lesson in Classes and Art & Craft Courses can always be previewed to give you an overview of the entire course and what you will learn on completion.

An Art & Craft Pattern design provided in the pdf document cannot be previewed. However the pattern slides will give you an overview of the pattern and the final product created following the design instructions.

4. Can I cancel an already purchased Course?

Yes, there is a time of seven days for you to try out the purchased Classes or Art & Craft Course. If you are not satisfied with the content, or you feel it is not relevant to your course requirements, you may cancel it within that said period to get a full refund.

Art & Craft Patterns which consists of a downloadable pdf file cannot be cancelled once purchased.

5. How long will my Course be available online?

Your subscribed courses will always be accessible to you. They can be accessed either through the main menu or by clicking ‘My Subscriptions’. If a course has been archived, they won’t be visible in the main menu, but they will still be visible in ‘My Subscriptions’.

6. Can I download a Course video or watch it offline?

No, a course video cannot be downloaded or viewed offline.

7. Can I download and share the image slides associated with a Course/ Pattern?

No, the image slides associated with a Course/ Pattern are proprietary material. They are available for viewing only to the subscribed user.

8. Can I download and share the Question, Answer and Solution slides?

No, the Question, Answer and Solution slides accompanying a Classes Course lesson are proprietary material. They are available for viewing only to the subscribed user.

9. How to Add Rating/ Review to a Course

To add your rating and review to a course you need to purchase and subscribe to the course first. Once subscribed you may add your rating and review by clicking on ‘Add Your Rating’ button in the Instructor Course/Pattern page.

10. How to share a Course on Social Media

In the individual course page, there are clickable icons through which you can share the course on the different supported social media.

11. How do I know which Skill Level in the Art & Craft section is appropriate for me?

Please click on the ‘?’ icon next to the skill level indicator in the Instructor Course/Pattern page. The detailed description of each of the levels is provided. This will help you to choose the relevant course suitable to you.

12. Are the Class courses aligned to my board curriculum?

Yes, our team of experts have designed the course with great care so that they match the course curriculum of most Indian secondary and higher secondary boards.

13. Can I contact my Course Instructor?

No, contact details of the Course Instructors are not provided. But for any help regarding the course please feel free to contact our support team at: support@topmarks.in.

14. Can I purchase recommended books in TopMarks?

No, you cannot purchase recommended books through this site. But we provide the link for you to buy the same recommended books from top seller sites.

1. What are the available options to purchase a Course?

We accept most forms of online payments. They include:

  • Credit / Debit Cards (Visa, Master Card, Maestro). International transactions are also accepted.
  • Mobile Wallets (PayTM, Amazon Pay, Freecharge and more)
  • Net Banking for most Indian banks.
  • UPI (PhonePe, GPay)

2. How many Courses can I put in the shopping cart at a time?

A maximum of 25 courses can be added to the shopping cart at a time. They can include different combinations of Courses (Classes and Art & Craft) and Patterns.

3. Where can I view the Courses purchased by me and Order details?

All your purchased Courses are listed together in the ‘My Subscription’ page, which is accessible through the User menu once you login.

All your order details are listed in the ‘My Orders’ page, which is again accessible through the User menu once you login in with your credentials.

4. Addressing Purchase issues

a. Payment complete but Course not accessible

Please check the following:

 
  • You have received a confirmation email and SMS for a successful payment.
  • Please make sure that you are logged in to your account.
  • In case you are logged in to a different account not the one in which the purchase was made.
  • In case the course is archived it will not be visible in the main menu. But you can still access them through ‘My Subscribed’ courses.

In case you are still not able to find the course please email us at support@topmarks.in with the course title and the corresponding Order ID.

b. Failed Transactions:

For card transactions the following reason can result in a failed transaction:

 
  • Wrong card information was entered
  • Incorrect CVC code was given
  • OTP number was incorrectly entered

UPI transactions can fail on multiple occasions.

In case your transaction has failed we request you to retry your payment. For multiple payment failures please contact us at support@topmarks.in

5. How do I cancel my Order?

You may cancel your order any time within the next seven days of your purchase to. get a full refund.

For multiple courses purchased in a single order you have the following cancel options:

 
  1. Cancel the order completely
  2. Cancel only select course(s) from the order

6. Do I need to request for a refund?

No. Once the course has been cancelled a refund will automatically be issued your original mode of payment.

7. Timeline for refund

The refund will be processed immediately from our end. But the time it takes to be credited to your account will vary with the original mode of payment. In most cases you can expect the refund within 7 working days.

In case you do not receive your refund in the stipulated number of days, please contact us at support@topmarks.in with the order details for a speedy resolution.

8. When can a refund be denied?

Refund for a subscribed Course can be denied for the following reasons:

 
  1. All Art & Craft Patterns are non-refundable.
  2. Evaluation time of seven days is over before the user decides to cancel the course.

Please note that we may suspend users who purchase and then refund multiple courses on a regular basis. This behavior will be considered fraudulent, and the user may be permanently barred from using our resources, at our sole discretion.

 

1. Video streaming issues, your video keeps buffering or reloading.

Please try the following:

 
  1. Refresh the browser
  2. Close and reopen the browser
  3. Use a different browser
  4. Clear the browser cache and cookies.
  5. Please make sure there are no browser extension or plugins are interfering with the video playback. Ensure that there are no firewalls blocking the videos from playing. Using an incognito window will be a good way to troubleshoot the streaming issue you are facing.
  6. Please see if your browser needs to be updated.
  7. Please logout and login again to your TopMarks account.
  8. Please check your internet connection. Restart your router/modem and try playing the video again. Please check your internet speed. For playing videos smoothly a minimum internet speed of 5Mbit or 800 mbps is required.
  9. Try playing a different video. All the course preview videos are free for viewing.
  10. Try watching the video at a lower resolution. This can be set from the settings in the video player.

2. Blank screen or lesson slides not visible.

 
  1. Refresh the browser
  2. Close and reopen the browser
  3. Use a different browser
  4. Clear the browser cache and cookies.
  5. Please make sure there are no browser extension or plugins are interfering with the display. Ensure that there are no blocking firewalls. Using an incognito window will be a good way to troubleshoot the issue you are facing.
  6. Please see if your browser needs to be updated.
  7. Please logout and login again to your TopMarks account.
  8. Please check your internet connection. Restart your router/modem and try accessing the course again. Please check your internet speed.

3. No audio

 
  1. Please check the audio settings of your device
  2. Refresh the browser
  3. Close and reopen the browser
  4. Use a different browser
  5. Clear the browser cache and cookies.
  6. Please make sure there are no browser extension or plugins are interfering with the audio. Ensure that there are no blocking firewalls.
  7. Using an incognito window will be a good way to troubleshoot the audio issue you are facing.
  8. Please see if your browser needs to be updated.
  9. Please logout and login again to your TopMarks account.
  10. Please check your internet connection. Restart your router/modem and try accessing the course again. Please check your internet speed.
  11. Please try watching another video from sites like YouTube or Vimeo. You can also try watching any of the preview videos in TopMarks to test for sound.

If you are still facing problem in any of the above cases, please write to us at support@topmarks.in with detailed information of the issue that you are facing.

This will help us resolving it at the earliest. Please include the following information:

 
  • Your browser name and version
  • Your OS (Windows 10, Mac OS X, etc)
  • The course lesson URL
  • Internet connection speed
  • Resolution at which you are playing the video (480p, 720p etc)
  • A screenshot of the page having the issue

4. Not able to download or view Pattern pdf file.

a. Not able to download the pdf file.

 
  • Please check your internet connection. If needed restart your modem/router.
  • Logoff and re-login to TopMarks

b. Not able to open the downloaded pdf file.

 
  • Install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on your computer
  • Set Acrobat Reader DC or Acrobat DC as the default pdf viewer
  • Update Acrobat Reader DC or Acrobat DC
  • Repair Acrobat Reader DC or Acrobat DC

 

1. Can I view my subscribed Courses in Mobile or Tablet?

Yes, you can login to your TopMarks account in your handheld device and access your subscribed courses.

  • iOS 11.0 and above

2. Can I download and view my courses in Mobile/Tablet?

No, the courses cannot be downloaded and viewed offline in any handheld device.
